Christmas parade!!

Okey so I havent been allowed to really ride at all for the past week and maybe even longer as I pulled a muscle in my back and have physical therapy and possibly realignment needed to get it back. So I was granted the permission to ride in the parade on saturady (yay!!) but not on my boy (sad) but on my old love mya so it wasn't to bad except that she is completely different from my little arab haha xD. Anyways we all went friday and groomed braided and cleaned up the horses I did running braid on both trigger and mya hoping to keep it the next day(didnt happen) but here is mya's(keep in mind this was my first time ever doing this type of braid ..ever)

. Then we went out saturday morning(my muscle relaxers were still in effect and I was not a happy camper nor was I awake I have decided to stop taking them after just 2 times of half a pill) and loaded everyone up once we got there the fun started we had to waite 30mins for our pad covers and helmets to get there(we had santa hats put on the helmets and candy cane sheet slip covers for all our pads) then laurens horse riverbend starts having a full blown freak out shaking sweating fidgeting just a mess!(i had to tell lauren to go walk her around the floats we would be around and the other horses and such and even then the poor old girl was not a happy camper. We had 3 new horses trigger did amazing but powder and riv were very very antsy. My good girl is a veteran and looves the attention! Haha. Well anyways it ended really well

What fun!! And sunshine to boot! Rainy like crazy here and we already postponed once our annual Caroling on Horseback ride. Hope for good weather next Saturday. You have inspired me to post some pics of it, if the weather allows us to do it.
Hope your back feels better soon.

Yup surprisingly but I also live in the desert where we get random weeks of rain and then hot hot days and then freezing cold it jumps around radically and the winds are normal crazy we have had to cancel our riding days because the wind was so bad we couldnt see the road

We met an old family friend at the store and she invited me into a Horse Club that brings people from different stables together and they trail ride in groups and camp together. They also join the parades. I accepted the offer and I can't wait until our first parade! They look so fun!

I was in my local Christmas parade last year with Caleb. Our parade is held at night so it was really dark. I wore a big santa hat over my helmet and Caleb had a gold tinsel string around his neck, bows in his bridle and tail, bells on both sides of the saddle and lights french braided into his mane.
I missed going this year though because I had to work :(. Heres a picture of from it, its the only one I have.

Sorry to hear about your back, I hope it gets better soon. It looks like you guys had a blast though!
