Classes in BC

Hello! I'm a new member who knows nothing about horses but I work in animal welfare and would like to learn about horses and take some riding lessons.

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a place I can take lessons at that uses positive, non-punishment methods. I'm in Richmond, BC. Affordable is also good (:

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum fellow British Columbian! I am not in the lower mainland (Cariboo), however you can contact Horse Council of BC HCBC, they have a website. They will give you a list of approved instructors in your area. Good luck.

Thanks! Does the HCBC particularly focus on positive reinforcement minded facilities?
