Question Could she carry me?

Hey, I have recently got a 13.2 new forest cross (no-one is sure what she really is) from slaughter. She's gorgeous! No vices, brill in traffic everything! (My first horse well pony but you know what I mean!)

Im 5ft3" and weigh around 8 stone, would I be ok on her? I'm not interested in competing just hacks and sponsored rides. May jump a few times but literaly 5 times a year! She doesn't seem to mind when I get on (I never mount from the ground) and seems to carry me ok. If she is too small I wont be getting another one it's just by chance I got her so is she ok do you think?

P.S I know i'm not wearing a hat! I normally always wear a hat and body protector. My friend had just been on her and she has never been around a horse and so wouldn't give me my hat! (she's nervous bless her) haha and molly had been tired out before so I knew she would be ok.

o and im not sure how much she weighs, was pretty podgy in this photo!

8 stone=112 lbs.

You seem fine on her to me. :)

Well, I'm 175 lbs (12.5 stone) & my recently acquired 13.0 hand pony seems to have no trouble with my weight. I don't have a picture of him with me, the pic below is of my 100 lb daughter-in-law with pretty much double her weight, and that would be me. He's cantered with me for about a half mile without showing any signs of difficulty...if we had more room, I think he would have gone farther.

BTW - the saddle is too big for her, and the stirrups are as short as they can go. She needs a smaller saddle, but we don't have one.

The folks who owned him before me used him for trail riding with the guy, who was 185 in his socks. I"m told he's done 3+ hours on the trail with the guy without difficulty.

She's really nice, I didn't notice the saddle! But I don't know much about western riding so couldn't comment anyway! I hope to do a 95 mile course over 4 days when she's fit enough so if she could carry me for that then i'm fine, it would be all the gaits but not for ages, mainly walk and trot.
