I am currently trying to focus on staying "attached to the string on the ceiling" but I keep slouching over so I think I need some excercizes to strengthen my core and back. My neck is also just healing from being out and so the less I engage the sides of my neck, the better (so no sit-ups, please). Some good stretches might help too (I've heard yoga is great for riders but I don't have the time/money for it right now).
Pilates excercises are great for riders to build core muscle strength, and improve posture and balance...and no sit ups. If you google it, you'll find a ton of excercises you can do.
