I have only been on a horse about 5 times now, and yesterday I got onto my sisters horse, and I had her going into a trot, and then we stopped. There was a sound that I guessed freaked her out(spooked), and she took off into a mad gallop. And I have never been in a gallop before. I held onto the horn as tight as I could, but ended up flying off of her and landed flat on the back of my head and my back. My surgeon told me that I could never ride a horse because I had scoliosis and have the steel rods in my back. But I went to ER and everything is fine, just internal bruising. I am afraid to get back on her for my training, and I don't know what to do, or how to handle a situation like that if it were to happen to me again. Any suggestions??[/b][/i]
I fell of a horse an landed on my back and back of he head too. It can hurt for a little but I got over it. Just remember to get back on the horse. I was cantering when I fell of. So my trainer put me on him all the time after that. Now I can canter confertaby on him So try getting back on her! Hope you feel better!!!
