First Riding Lesson Since My Operation :D
6 weeks ago I had a jaw operation which basically broke and extended my jaw, which stopped growing prematurely.
2 weeks ago, I got back on my horse for the first time and have been taking him on short hacks every now and again. Last night I went for my first riding lesson! We stuck to a flat lesson as my jaw can't take any 'high impact activity' i.e. jumping. So we worked on out canter leads and leg yield in walk and trot. He was really excited to be back in the school but by the end he was so tired, bless him!
Anyway we got through it and there was no pain in my mouth, which is a bonus!
