First time bareback :)

Today I rode my first time bareback :)

I cowgirled up (and with a little help) got on and rode my pony bareback! I was a little iffy because it was raining hard and of course ransom was being spooky. But I'm totally glad I faced my fears because I can't wait to do it again & start getting good at it :)

I love this! I want to try riding my gelding bareback but I've been too chicken. You've given me the courage to give it a try.

Ransom is very spooky so if your gelding isn't that spooky I suggest you give it a try :)

I ride bareback alot - but more cause I often am short on time - so its alot quicker than tacking up.

Ill pretty much do anything I would do in a saddle (In fact I wasnt allowed a saddle when I was a kid for the first year I had a horse)

Keep it up you will get more and more balanced :) Some horses are definitely easier than other as well

when i was younger, id go catch my horse in the fields. it was a long walk to the barn.. I use to ride my horse back to the barn with nothing but a halter.. she would even reign and stop when i pulled back.. granted I spent more hours on this horse than I ever would be able to spend on one again but riding bareback was fun.

I do what BarrelBunny does, too.. It's very freeing! You feel closer to the horse riding bareback. I ride bareback almost as much as I ride in a saddle and I do all the jumping/hacking/racing that I normally do ;)
