Fitness for riders

Hi guys,
I wanted to know if any of you have any good exercises to really strengthen your lower body? I'm 5'5 and 130lbs so losing weight is not what Im looking for, but I'm getting back into the hang of things with jumping and just starting jumping lessons with my trainer, and looking for some home exercises I could do to strengthen my legs.

Thanks so much everyone!

Squats, lunges, stairs, bridging. So many things. Add a couple pounds of cuff weights to your ankles if everything is too easy.

Lay on your back on the floor, elevate your legs about a foot off the ground and hold there. Often people start with doing that 10 seconds, relax 5, repeat.

Strength training, focusing on compound lifts/movements like squats, lunges, deadlifts etc. My biggest problem with jumping has always been my lack of stability with my lower leg, but after adding strength training to my workout routine I can feel, and my coach has commented on how still my lower leg is now, even over the bigger stuff.

Frog position and two point. Lots and lots and lots of both.

I'm a believer in a strong core so I do 150 situps every day. First I do a series of stretching exercises for the spine because I have a few compressed discs, then I do leg stretches and lifts, ankle stretches and rotations. Then my situps. I do everything in order. Sometimes I do squats but they aggravate my knees so I dont do them as often as I'd like. When I can get downstairs I do some running on my treadmill and I have an eliptical that I use with the treadmill. But this year I've been very lax for a number of reasons but I will get back to the machines because I believe in the healing power of the fast walk. ANd I just happen to like walking on a treadmill - the eliptical, I can live without but it's a good exercise and keeps the joints fluid.
