Fun ways to warm up

I have been riding for 6 year now and I am looking for some fun ways to warm up because I am find that both me and the horse I am riding are getting board and cooled in the warmup.I ride English. What are some fun ways to warm up??

I always used to go for a short hack before starting schooling - much less boring than riding circles

That kind of hard as their is about 5 feet of snow and it's rain now so their is most likely going to ice. I started riding this horse in the late fall so I am not sure how she act outside? Also don't ride until it's 5pm so it's dark here. I live in north Canada.

I keep my horse engaged with lots of changes of directions, circles, and transitions. I find all aspects of riding fun, and this efficiently 'wakes my horse up' and gets him listening to me.

In my lessons, my trainer has me work on shoulder-ins, walk-halt transitions, and leg yields all at the walk to get both of our minds engaged and ready to work
