    If she stumbles a lot take a look at her hooves. Does she have long toes/no heel type trims? That's a major culprit of tripping horses.

    Yes, some very good advice and tips. Unfortunately I can't work with her every other day and so forth, but I will concentrate on as much consistent and regulated work as possible. Rather than ride my firey little 5 year old mare as often as I do, I will give Grasshopper some more workouts...out on some trails.

    I haven't been much into the lunging and pen work yet, but might start doing some with her on weekends, so's I can watch her and observe movements and progress.
