    I think that's a plastic horse anyway. Usually easier to mount because they don't dance around as much.

    Mazza007, the ones from stateline tack hang off the stirrup. They come sized for english or western saddles. I have the western one but it would work fine for the stirrups on an Aussie saddle. If it has one shortfall it's not quite wide enough for a big mans stirrup. It works fine with my stirrups. Metal plate that holds it is too short to work on the big stirrups on my husbands saddle. Little bit longer than stated, it gives you an extra 8 inches, maybe more. I keep it a fanny pack I take with me when I ride. Takes up little room and weighs nearly nothing.

    The girl with the wrong foot in the stirrup assist is using it as a ladder.

    Right foot in apparatus, Left foot in stirrup and swing right leg over saddle.
    If not done this way you would need to be about 7 feet tall to swing your leg straight over the saddle without taking that second step.
