    Girl Questions =]

Alright. I got a question for girls.

Especially for those of you who have to wear nice clean breeches.

What is the best source of protection and comfort when you ride during menstruation? I know most girls try to do whatever it takes to get around physical activity during this time, but what have you found to be the best? My major concern is comfort and fluidity of movement. I know they have "sport" stuff but I've never tried any of that.

I ride in jeans, but I usually wear a thin pad, with a tampon. It is comfortable for me. Sometimes, if I don't feel like wearing a tampon, I'll just use a thivker pad.

I always go one thicker that what I need. (moderate flow/heavy flow pad) that way I'm sure to not bleed on the saddle.

Is there a specific brand you guys use, because I'm slightly sensitive to having tampons on and I don't want it to be uncomfortable. =/ I would probably use a pad, but maybe if I found something comfortable enough.

I can't wear a pad when I ride, it is so uncomfortable and gross feeling to me, but I never wear just a pad, anyway. I just use a tampon, and always have extra close by so I can frequently change, and I sometimes use a panty liner or thin pad, as well. I am a big Playtex fan, and Tampax. I usually like any kind which isn't an offbrand, as those usually have cardboard applicaters. Ouch.

You're joking. What the heck. Ow.

I like thicker ones, I feel better, especially at night, but normally I wear a tampon and then have like a lining for just in case, because I can be really heavy.

I'm also like, sixteen and may not be fully developed there--I just worry about feeling uncomfortable in a tampon, especially when doing things like posting. =/ I don't think I've ever worn anything but maybe a liner because I was going to start that night or something.

^^ Agreed. If it's inserted correctly, you shouldn't be able to feel it no matter what you're doing.
