Going to my first show; alone!

Sorry this is going to be a long story/rant...

I'm not new to the show world or anything, but my dad is going to be gone the day of a big show, so that means I'll be at it pretty much alone, and I'm 15.
Although my mom is going to be there, she doesn't really do horses since I have little siblings, but she can drive a trailer around and can help if something goes really wrong.

The way I understand it, they're going to help me get the horses to the show grounds the friday night (the night before the show), he leaves that night, and then comes back Monday, which works out good because that's when you're supposed to take the horses home.

I would totally skip it if it weren't an important show, but on the bright side, I have my siblings and mom who can help out, but they're not into horses like I am so they're not going to be a whole lot of help.. Plus my trainer is going to be there (thank God!)... But still, it's nerve racking. What if something goes wrong? I'm kind of scared.
What are some things I can do before (preparation) that can make sure nothing goes wrong?

Seriously, if you read all this, you're awesome. Thanks.

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes it's the voice at the end of the day that says "I'll try again tomorrow"...

Breathe.... I show alone all the time. If anything, it makes for a better bond with you and your horse. You'll be fine.

You just have to see your distance...you don't have to like it.

There is the same amount of risk of something happening by yourself or with him there. You'll be fine, if something does happy you'll have the opportunity to try and figure it out yourself and it'll give you a sense of achievement :) Best of luck!

Stop for a minute, open your mind, learn. You may not agree with what I say, I may not agree with what you say but we will both learn something new.

Just relax and have fun. It'll be a great experience for later on in life when you're best option is to show alone. I'm sure you'll be fine :). Plus like you said your trainer will be there, so I'm sure she will be great help if your horse gets sick or something else goes wrong. You've gotta have a little faith in yourself, I'm sure your more then competent at handling your horse in emergencies :).
