    Grrrr frustrating day!

I'm not sure if anyone else got those crazy storms yesterday...it was so clear and gorgeous out, I got my horses, groomed and tacked up, and of course, as soon as we hit the sand ring, it's gets dark.....the wind picks up and the craziest storm ever hits! I was so looking forward to my ride this week and it gets rained on! Boo!

We had a big lightning storm here yesterday, but it didn't happen until after I rode.

You guys are not too far from us.....I thought for sure the house roof would cave in. You know it's going to be bad when all the horses make a beeline for the shelter!

Lol, yeah. It was the worst when I was trying to sleep! Of course..
Yeah, I live in northern NY (also known as nowhere LOL) like an hour away from canada.
Yes, I do show a draft horse, we do eventing, at about 18" right now xD. He's a wonderful horse, and I like him better than the horses at my barn that can jump higher, but have terrible ground manners and aren't very fun to be around.

I recently bought a Clyde/TB mare and now I am obsessed with the clyde la dee-da attitude..I am dying to find a really wild looking clyde x paint horse.

My mom, has a percheron/TB gelding, but he got a little bit more of the thoroughbred temperment, so he's a little more "hot" than my horse.
I love draft crosses, when they get the draft temperment.

All she got was the TB color.....she's built like the Clyde, is super gentle and is white as fallen snow.....my dad rode her for about 10 mins yesterday before that crap hit, so at least he got a (short) ride in!)
