    Had an AWESOME Lesson Today!

Just thought I'd say that I had the most awesome lesson ever today. I rode Ben, a 12yo DARK dun Quarter Horse because Razz, my Appy, has an abscess, so he's out of commission for a while. So other than him being a butthead at the trot(trying to go to the middle of the arena), he was great. Razz's canter is fast and jolty, so it was great riding a slow, smooth horse. I went from holding the horn to holding the reins with one hand, with the other up in a western steer. {like http://www.mspetcare.com/images/western_show.jpg

I walked him out bareback.. which had the little girl I was riding with wanting to try, too. :P He's so round with medium-low withers, and he was very comfy. I'm riding him again Sunday.. off the lunge line. Wheee. And if all goes well, I'll be in a show with him next month.
