Hah... I fell off

It was only my third lesson yesterday, and I was posting along pretty well, but I forgot to tap the reigns to keep his head up, (left right loosen stuff) and he tripped. XD lol I fell, yay. Landed on my butt, (really only half of it, didn't hit my tailbone or anything), nothing was hurt... Except I had to spit out some dirt that so nicely landed in my mouth, yum! :P I got right back on to trot again. The problem was the tapping and I hadn't had my knees tight, but I was riding the short horse that day so It wasn't so bad. I could hardly breathe at first just because it happened so fast, but apparently I did the right thing. She said, "good job letting go of those reigns," and I'm thinking, "I'm glad I did the right thing cause I sure wasn't thinking at that point." xD My butt's kinda sore, but I feel kinda proud in a weird way. I kept going, the first is the worst (unless the second leaves you with an injury or something O_O), and it's like my horse has "initiated" me into the world of horseback riding. I have officially fallen off my horse. ^__^ Go, me!

Lol, glad to see you are taking it well. Don't you worry it will happen again to the point where like myself and many others on this forum-you will stop counting your falls
