    Hair on used tack..

Just bought a new used breast collar, but there is horse hair on it from previous owner's horse. What do I do to remove it?

    Wash it?
Or you could pick off the hair..I've had to since my mum said hell no to washing it in ours, and horse items are banned from all our surrounding laundromats, lol.

Sticky tape would probably work. If you don't have any official rolls, you can make your own by cutting off a strip of masking tape, folding it in a circle around your hand (sticky side out) and rolling it over your breast collar; when it's full toss it and start another one.
