Question Help for a French Visitor who wants to ride!

Hi everybody!
I'm a French girl visiting Berkeley near San Francisco, and I'm also rider and horses owner in France.
I'm there for one month, and I would like to know where can I find a good place (club or ranch) to do horse trekking, or even some owners who want to rent their horses?

Are there some ads or stg like this where I can find this information?
When I look for the nearest clubs, they are very far, or they don't make trekking just lessons

Thank you very much

Hi, I am really close to Berkley, I'll ask around about anyone leasing a horse and let you know!

Thank you very much, that would be very kind

And if you know some website where I can find such ads or offer, that would be great!

You can try craigslist.org, equine.com or equinenow.com. They're some really good sites!

You could also do an advanced search on the internet. Then you might be able 2 get a horse that suits you, but still just lease it.

OK um.... you no how you went on those websites try going on horseville.com and click Advanced Horse Search after that you should be able to figure it out its pretty straight forward. If you get what I mean

Someone else might be able to explain it better :/

Oh ok thank you!
But still I don't find anything so far...
I don't know if I search the wrong names or if there is really nothing here!
How do you call the horses for rent? And when you pay to ride the horse during one month for example?

Why don't you ask if a member here would be willing to take you out, or something like that. I live far away, but I if I were near I would take you out for a ride, at least one ride, maybe not a full lease, but a ride.

If you pay a small fee, it helps the owner with costs, and you can always offer to reciprocate, if they come to France someday.

Tinyliny> Of course if that was possible that would be perfect and I would be very glad, but I don't know much about how it works here, if it is done very often, if there are some people of forum on Berkeley, etc etc...

But for sure if there was someone on Berkeley on forum who would be ok to take me for horse riding, and I would pay back some money, it would be perfect
