HELP! What is a quarter pirouette? And the aids?

For my video I need a quarter pirouette but never done it before! On youtube I can only find canter pirouettes so please can you show me any vids and tell me exactly what it is? Thanks

Trained
A quarter pirouette is exactly how it sounds - a quarter of a pirouette. You only ask for a couple of steps of the movement, then ride out again. It's a good training exercise to build up a horse's strength to sit behind. It is also good to only ride a quarter pirouette in training rather than a full pirouette, so that you don't lose any quality of the movement and the horse stays confident to those aids.

Is your horse ready to be doing pirouette work?
