I know I have this same thread in the video section, but no one seem to look at it so I thought I'd post it here too. :]
Okay so, here's how it goes. For my American Cultures class this year, I am required to submit an entry into the competition for National History Day. This years topic is on innovation, so I've decided to make a video about how many things the ability to ride horses has changed. This is where you guys come in :] I would really love to have some actual riding footage of various different disciplines in my video, and I can't really just rip things off the internet seeing as this is a national competition and it needs to be legal xD So, if you have riding footage, be it you riding, a friend riding, a video you took of some sort of riding event, etc., I would be much appreciative if you would share it with me :] You absolutely WILL be cited and given credit in the final movie if you do so wish. I can cite you're full name if you're willing to disclose that information. If not, I will simply cite your screen name on here. Even if it's just something small, anything would be appreciated. Thank you!
Oh, also, I know not everyone on here is from the U.S., but footage from other countries would be great as well!
Also, here is my thesis statement :]
From the moment a man had the idea to sit on a the back of a horse, the art of equestrianism was fated to become so ingrained in society that it would even shape history. As a result of that one person’s idea, the partnership that was learned between man and beast has won battles, shaped cultures, provided quicker transportation and saved lives. But most of all, it has provided man with an infallible friendship.
"The art of riding is keeping a *horse* between you and the ground."
