Horse riding n the New Forest ??? Help me please

Hello !

My name is Magali, I'm French.

I don't speak very well English :(

Sundy, I go in the University of Southampton (with my school).
We stay at Southampton 3 weeks.

So, I would ride in the New Forest. In France, I ride since two years (one less by week) so I'm not confirmed.
I search a sympathic centre to ride one day or one half day with my boyfriend (he has the same level that me).

Can you advise me a horse riding center near Southampton (we won't have car) ?

There is sympathics Sotonians here ? :)

Thank you very much.

Magali

The university has an Equestrian Club - http://www.soton.ac.uk/~riding/

Try emailing riding@soton.ac.uk and asking them what they would recommend. You might get a slow reply as it's the summer, but hopefully you won't as that sort of club often runs through the summer too. The people who run the equestrian club will know all the local opportunities for riding and be able to direct you to the best options.

If you don't get a reply before you go, when you get to the university, go to the Students Union. There'll be someone there even in the summer, and don't be afraid to ask anyone there if they know who you could speak to to find out about riding opportunities.

Students Unions are absolutely the best place to go for information about activities when you're in the area!
