Hi Bernie

It's going great so far, I took all the advice onboard and I kind of worked it all in to my own way of doing things, which is 1. Squeeze of the leg 2. Nudge with my heel and lastly I use a whip whop or my reins which are really long and I put some rhythmic pressure on her from side to side on her shoulder. I had to use the whip whop or reins everytime to begin with and when I did use it I got a big reaction she would jump to the side about 3 feet so I had to hang on pretty tight and it made me nervous but after a while of doing that she started to come off the nudge of my heel and this last couple of weeks she has started to come off the squeeze. It has taken a while and I have had some battles with her and also I found that I needed to get my leg alot stronger than it was so I did some exercises off the horse to strengthen my calf muscles also the most important thing was that once I had asked I had to commit to getting her to do it as previously if she pushed against me with abit of attitude it made me nervous so I kind of stopped asking and she just ignored me as she knew if she pushed hard enough she got her way. Hope this helps.
