    I just make sure my boy is nice and collected for a well balanced lope or canter and depending if im wearing spurs or not, lightly touch his side with either my boot or the side of my spur, and he goes into a lope so easily! :) I don't see the point in clucking or kissing to any horse, but that's just my own opinion.
