LOL... I've never kept track. Probably because I can fall over carpet! I'm not the most graceful gal! I've only been seriously hurt once and it wasn't that bad... cracked my tail bone. But have had too many bruises to even think about. As I age I try to be more careful...its not helping much

I "slipped" off once about 8 years ago when I was riding bareback in snowpants. My gelding did something funny, and I literally laughed until I fell off...I landed on my feet, but it would have been a nice landing either way because of the soft snow.

I also jumped off about 5 years ago when I chose to ride my 4 year old gelding bareback on trail in a hackamore, and he chose to start running and not stop...That one hurt badly! Needless to say, I no longer do trail with the bareback/hackamore combo until I am really sure of the training of the horse.

I "fell" off today! My mare, Maia, decided that she doesn't like cantering while I'm riding bareback - she put up a rearing fit, and I stayed on, bucked a few times, reared a few more, (all the while I was getting after her!) One lucky rear she caught me off balance and reared up, I started sliding off (darn slick summer coats!) and somehow twisted off and landed on my feet - whoo boy did she ever get it!

    2 times.

Because the horse bucked (I hope this is the right word). (Expression: "The horse jumpes with his back in the air".)

She(The horse) was "happy" an did that, and when this happened, I was used to ride only half a year and so I wasn't such able to stay on the horse. It was on two different days when I fell down.

I've probably fallen off about 20ish or more times. I used to ride a nasty little pony a few years back that thought it was funny to try and dump me whenever he could. The only serious fall was 1 and a half yrs ago when I broke my tailbone and was not allowed to ride for about 7 months (man did that suck). So far this year I haven't fallen off and I've never fallen off Brickens but I know my time will come, but not for a little while because I can't ride right now because of terrible back pains and spasms.
