The husband is on a high lol

He rode, actually rode, Dixie today. The last couple of times he tried to ride her, she basically won the battle and he couldn't get her to do anything he wanted.

Today they started with a walking lunge for about 5 minutes. Then they fought over him getting in the saddle, but finally she gave up and let him on.

Then they fought for a good ten minutes, with her trying to do all she could to walk over to Arizona's corral. I kept saying "stay patient, be more patient, be more willful than she is. Turn her in a circle" over and over and eventually she decided going where he wanted her to go was easier and less work than fighting him

He is really really excited about it I'm proud of him. To think a year ago he was still pretty nervous and scared around Zonie.

And today he had a good 20-25 minute ride on his own horse. That's a good feeling.
