I had an Epiphany today!

At my lesson today, I finally had the "breakthrough", the "epiphany", everything finally clicked for me.

I had been stressing lately, thinking that I wasn't improving and making the same mistakes I've made my whole riding career. It was really making me uncomfortable and I was upset.

Somehow, today, everything Jen was saying that she always says made sense in a new way, and I was jumping a million times better and like completely differently but in the right way!

It was so excited I finally got it right! The only bummer is that I leave for college after my last lesson next Monday, which means a new trainer, and who knows when my new lessons start. Bummer!!! I'll just have to practice with Bailey before I leave.

Congrats. Well done. I love it when everything just suddenly 'clicks'. At least you have sorted out you isues!

There is one principle that should never be abandoned, namely, that the rider must first learn to control himself before he can control his horse. This is the basic, most important principle to be preserved in equitation - Alois Podhajsky
