I had a great bareback ride!

Just wanted to tell you all about my ride. My horse wasn't used to bareback riding and it took a while for him to get used to it but now my work has paid off. We mainly walked but he was soo comfy and balanced. I practiced a little bit during the really cold days last month and now he's fun to ride bareback. So if you have trouble with it or you think your horse doesn't like it keep on trying because now we both enjoy it.

I love bareback! Haven't ridden that way in a while, like almost a year!, but I learned only doing bareback. It's so much fun. Glad you had a good day with it

That is great to hear! Bareback riding is so much fun. Unfortunately, Jubilee is really uncomfortable riding bareback because she's a TB and has extremely high withers and a bony back. Oh well.

Oooh, bareback is fun! I last did it around Halloween, I rode the pony I used to lease for the Halloween sit-a-buck- class. We did awful because he was so fat my lower legs couldn't even touch him, lol. He hasn't been ridden except by begginers in months, but we got a to canter around and he started having fun swinging his head and bucking

I'd love to ride my horse bareback, but I kind of have this weird obsession with living.

I haven't put a saddle on to ride (except for my husband to ride) since... oh... probably October... much warmer bareback! I love it. Nice to hear another person learning the joys!

I like riding bareback, but it's safer in the long run for me right now because my mare likes to buck and I have no desire or wish to bew tossed accidentally, lol... and my colt is so young that, while I would trust him with my life, he's stilljust a baby and spooks at things occassionally, lol.

When I'm just playing around the house, I'll ride bareback, and occassionally i'll jump on my colt bareback, but right now that's about it.

I started bareback riding this year. Haven't had the best bareback experiences ever. First time I fell off, but that was my fault. Bareback on a 4 y/o stallion w/ the WORST BUMPIEST trot ever was bad enough, but then considering he only had 15 days training. Yeah, but he didn't do anything wrong, except be bumpy, but that wasn't his fault. And then Duke just thinks he can get away with everything while we're riding bareback. I just need to keep riding and get my bareback confidence up

I like to ride bareback too! I havent in awhile because of it being so cold that Joe is a bit high some days and well it hurts more falling off when its cold! I have to put 2 pads on Joe though because he is so uncomfortable! Has high withers and is really spinny! Glad you had a lot of fun!

The rider casts her heart over the fence, the horse jumps in pursuit of it.
