I hurt myself but i have to ride In less than 24 hours

I feel down eralier today and I must ride in less than 24 hours. I hurt my foot and I was told to rest it. So I am of course. I also toke some pain med. But what else can I do to make sure I will be able to ride? Any ideas?? I really must ride. Please help me. Also I am limping just a little I am 100% postitive it is not broken so there must be something I can do.

Why do you have to ride? It would be better to not if possible. You could soak it in Epsom salt.

I don't have to but I got my first share board! It is feeling a better tho I put some ice on it. I will try the salt thing thanx

Well sense you have 24 hours I would definantly ice it down, and if its hurtin you then take some pain medicine. Do you think you might of spraind it? I would recommend you get alot of protien, because obviously protein repairs and builds. But make sure you stay off it, ice it down good but also kinda stretch it abit so it don't get real stiff.. I hope this helps..

Careful, pain medication and riding don't mix, unless it is an OTC like Tylenol or Ibuprofen. I'm not a physician and not your mama, so I'm not going to ask why it is that you must ride if you were told to rest it.
Is it possible to ice it & wrap it with an ace bandage or grab a slide on ankle support from the drug store?

I had some Ibprofen ealyier. I feeling better I think its bc of pain med. LOL

My foot hurts a little so I am going to take some ibuprofen. But its feeling much better! Thanx for all your help
