I passed!

Well I finally took my 4-H level test. I knew I would pass, but it was just weird being tested. Especially when it's on a horse I've only ridden twice before.... yikes. However, I got it done and now I just have to register for the classes.

I am sad though that I can't do WP with my mule because he's had a week off and we were just at the point where my trainer could canter on him. I'm hoping I can still use him for barrels though. We'll see

Congrats!

Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don't be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.

I think I made a deal with my trainer that we'll use the mule for speed events. That way we don't have to worry about training him headsets and I can use two hands with him.

after the fair sometime.... as of now, well last week, he was just at the point where we put him in a solid curb and he could canter in the big outdoor round pen w/ my trainer..... haven't worked with him since last thursday so he probably regressed a lot...... I might be able to work with him again tomorrow or monday
