Offer to volunteer at a riding facility in exchange for lessons. I used to do this and it is a great way to learn all about horses and it doesnt cost anything.

You can work for rescue or selling barn. I'm sure they'll love your help!

On that note, getting a part-time job at the nicest, largest stables you can find is a great way to get exposure also.

Well she is only 13 tho so I don't think she can work a part time job yet. I would call ranches and see if they know anyone that is doin ridin lessons.. I get my lessons for only 20 dollars every lesson (1:30 minute lesson) and now I am about to take Horsemanship lessons with the small trainor for only 5 dollars.. And one of the ranches I called told me about her to.

I think God blessed me because I can't believe I am gettin all that for so cheap.

Well good luck! And keep your hopes up

Offer to do the dirty jobs around barns in exchange for lessons - I know if I owned a barn (and I will someday!) I would kill for young, eager girls to offer that!

Hey, I'm from the same area as you and plan on starting lessons too. I was looking at stables, and Miricale Ranch, has a 8 week western package for 240$

And St. Andrews Stables have weekly lessons for 25$ each and you pay monthly,

Google those stables for more details.
Hope I helped.

Actually, I don't know if this is in any other countries, but anyone, any age can work part time job as long as they have a form signed by their parents etc!!!
