Im an idiot...

Hi guys,

I rly just wanted to share my moment of idiotness... Friday I was doing an exercise tape because im trying to get into shape, well I was doing a lunge or something similar and tweaked what ever connects your inner thigh to your groin. I went to the barn today and was still a little sore but I rly wanted to ride so I got on anyways. Big mistake! I am in so much pain in that area! Sitting, standing, walking, stretching all hurts!

I hope the pain goes away by thursday so I can ride then :(

Have you tried a heating pad? How about a n Epsom salts bath/soak?

If you pulled your groin muscle it can take some time to heal...don't push it.

Im feeling allot better today, I was able to do most of todays work out video as long as I followed the modifier although squats were out of the question. So maybe by thursday I will be ok. That's the thought process and wishful thinking anyways.

I did this to myself two weeks ago during riding! I didn't stretch properly before hand and my horse took a step I wasn't expected and my muscle got pulled. It lasted about two weeks. Last week riding was nearly impossible, but I toughed through it. This week I made sure to really stretch before hand and I wasn't in any pain. Best of luck!

Best bet is physio and rest. By continuing working out you aren't giving your body chance to heal. Take ibuprofen to help with any swelling as per the packet and take it easy!
