Oh, I'm sorry she's gone. Hopefully she is someplace where she'll be teaching someone new to riding. These are very special horses and there will be other special horses coming into your life during your riding years. Appreciate the lessons each will teach you, time is so short. I still remember my first "lesson" horse, she was a very special treasure to me.

Awww! :(
I'm so sorry.

One of my favorites was retired and sold at the same time as the horse I'd trained for lessons. :( I was crying when the owner told me she'd be selling him, but he was getting so old and probably would've had an accident eventually if he hadn't been retired, so looking back on it I'm glade they did it.
My other favorite was sold but the women boards him at barn. I was devastated at first, but it turns out she goes away during the Summer and lets me ride him while she's not there now. =]

Think about how happy her new owner must be! Apparently, she was a pretty awesome horse; think about how ecstatic you would be if you'd just bought her!

Awww, I am so sorry! I know how hard this can be. I rode a beautiful little mare for 3 years and always wanted to lease her but never was able to. She was sold recently, but thankfully by that time I had gotten my own horse. That's one sad part about horses, getting attached to ones that you don't own. It's never easy saying goodbye... but I always said I would never love another horse like I did that mare. But I was wrong... I would never trade my own mare, Jubilee, for anything in the world.

Hope things work out for you!

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord. 'Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future'" ~ Jeremiah 29:11

I havent started riding yet, but my favorite horse at the barn is being retired. She's one of the main reasons I travel 4 hours everytime I go. So now I am getting myself attached to another horse. She's going to a good home, strictly retirement.
I hope you get to continue seeing "your horse". It makes it easier knowing they are doing ok.

I hope her new owners are happy with her. I would be. She was my dream horse and was amazing to ride ( had the smoothest jump ever!) and sooo sweet <3
Her name was Fanny (not pronounced the english way xD )
If i could have a horse i would have def. got her.

(i didn't take them)

i didn't get any pics of her! D':
