Just got back from my first lesson!
Just got back from my first lesson with my new trainer, it's been a year and WOW it shows. My muscles have forgotten everything they know, core strength is lacking and I seem to have a problem with keeping my lower legs still, I have limited flexibility in my ankles and find my foot slipping in the stirrup which has never been a problem. I rode a lovely mare called Summer she had a jolty canter, little moody but nothing too bad. Any pointers for keeping my lower legs still and heels down?
