Today we were riding in the field. I take a group lesson with a few of my friends. Anyways, one of my friends was having a lot of trouble with her pony, so obviously the instructor was going to pay more attention to her. But as soon as the pony stopped not listening, the instructor would go down the line to point out what we needed to do/fix. I was second in line, and after she had tole my friend who was in front of me what to do, she skipped over
me and went to the next girl. Assuming I wasn't doing anything wrong, and tat was why I had been skipped, I kept on doing what I had been doing. About two minutes later, my instructor was all of the sudden screaming at me to "SIT BACK! REINS SHORT! HEELS DOWN!" Uhm... Okay?
Jerry was being absolutely perfect, he was responding to everything I was telling him to do, and he was at a perfect speed. So there was no reason to yell at me to sit back when I was already in a good position.
My instructor is usually very friendly towards me when I'm not riding, but things like this have happened more often ever since I bought my own pony. I really like my instructor too, she's really great and has taught me a lot.
