lessons? (countrywide)

Hello All,

I am in the beginning stages of compiling a data base containing information on plus size friendly barns and lesson programs around the country and in canada and possibly the UK as well...

If anyone can reccommend a plus size friendly barn, lesson program, instructor, etc...please reply to thread or email me at 18handsstore@gmail.com and please indicate whether or not suitable horses are provided.

I appreciate any responces, and thanks in advance

Lizzy

Good instructors are limited around here, and is your own horse. Cost is $60/hour IF you can get the only good instructor we have. Another local one is $100/hr (she has horses) and then other instructors I wouldn't take lessons from for free run $50 on down.

Guess I have never thought about whether a particular barn was "plus size friendly" or not, and I supposed that would depend upon your definition of "plus size"?

I have never known of a barn in business of giving lessons to turn people away, within reason of course, but perhaps I am naive?
