Lets talk jumping

This is mainly to rant. About your lessons, weather success or fail. Jumper shows, good or bad. Your horse and his jumping history, weather straight down the line or bred from, say, a cart driver. Sharing photos and everyone can critique freely if requested. To talk about different training techniques and lend a hand to new people or with a problem mentioned. Lets. Talk. Jumping. :)

Ill go first and talk about my lesson yesterday, I have a show that starts tomorrow and ends monday. First time back jumping since my Thanksgiving trip to Colorado to skii.... andddd it went like this.

Got Romeo out and he had just been shaved earlier that day, so he was all frisky in the cool breeze, him being a TB bred from a long line of racehorses and did race, I do have to say I was expecting his full fire. Lol. But! He decided to calm down just before I got on, and we jumped for around 1 1/2hrs ranging from 3'3"-4'0". Absolute star. Honestly, I was so nervous about jumping again for the first time in a week, knowing I have a show the next couple days. Could not be more thankful for my hot headed little Romeo :)

Well I don't have any shows coming up, but gypsy jumped her first whole course at 3'6" on sunday. She is so good ! BUT she did leave a stride out in the 5 stride so she did 4, naughty girl.

I haven't been able to jump since the beginning of October before the snow hit Makes me grumpy! On the plus side, I may be able to go down south and ride/mentor with an old coach of mine every few weeks

Sweet! And id kill for cold weather right now. Hahah

yes that is her ! That was when she was 3, now she's 6

I don't think you want what I have here... minus 30! Go outside and your nose sticks together lol, least I work in a nice cozy heated office

WOW, and I want to live in Montana :) so we will see :) haha just need lots of money for a heated arena ;) haha doubt that would happen tho

Not to sure about Montana weather... I've never even been to the States! One day I would like to though!
