Little horse.

I just bought a new horse. He is the sweetest little guy, the only problem is, I feel he may be TOO little.
I feel comfortable riding him and it's nice and easy to get up on him, but when I look at photos of me riding him I feel like I may just be crushing the poor little bloke.
I'm not certain if it's just because I've made a drastic change in height (the other horses I ride are 15.2hh and up to 17.2) as my new guy is only 14.2hh

Could I get some honest opinions on whether I look too big for him or not?
Thank you in advance :)

How tall are you?

I'm 5'7" (was about 160lbs in this pic) and mostly leg. My old gelding was a 14.2hh Arab/NSH who weighed about 900lbs.

Yes, I know the saddle is too small.

I'm not seeing any pictures. [Edit - picture seen in post 2]

For reference, Trooper is 14.3, and I'm 5' 8" & 175 lbs:

Don't know how I look, but Trooper has never objected.

I'm 5'7 and about 60 kilos (around 140 pounds?)
For a paint he is very finely built and although the is gaining muscle in leaps and bounds he still seems so darn delicate to me! That being said he is still young so might even grow a tiny bit more.
It seems to be my perception of the situation though, I'm sure I'll get used to his size in no time at all!

Bsms it's great to see another person riding with only a halter and lead rope! It isn't very common where I'm from so people think I'm nuts when they see me doing it!
