May be moving my girls to a new barn

I'm getting less and less thrilled with current place. Times change on things from week to week and we are made to feel that it's our fault for being late. Last year my girls did about 5 shows and the barn was supposed to do an end of the year awards. Never happened and now we just found out that no show will held because it didn't make enough money for the farm. The instructors are great but I'm not going to continue to pay for lessons for my girls and they can't showcase their hard work in a show. They really liked do the shows and think it was a great confidence builder but also taught them about sportsmanship. Just need to figure out how to go about telling current barn we are leaving. We have found another barn one of our friends knows the owner and our friend used to ride at. Going to check it out

Good luck! I found out that if you don't like something about the barn too much, it's easier to move on.

Well we went to a barn I've known owners for many years. Talked to their daughter who gives the lessons and on Thursday girls go for a trial lesson. Best part is it's 10 min. Up the road
