Men's Paddock Boots?

So... I'm in need of some new paddock boots and there's a closeout taking place on some Ariats (which has always been my preferred brand). I found the "model" that I like (called their Heritage line) but the ones on closeout are the men's. Which brings me to ask... is there really a significant difference between the manner in which the men's boots would be crafted as opposed to women's if they're the same "model" of boots?

I know the sizing would be a little different, but that can be compensated for with some research, right? I wear 9-9.5 in women's.

Men's boots might be crafted a little better, Eolith. Not fair and it makes no sense, but I find that to be the case with most men's stuff vs. women's.

If you wear a woman's 9-9.5, you'll want a man's 7-7.5. I wear a woman's size 7, and I wear a man's 5.

I just bought some men's Ariats Heritage III lace paddocks 2 months ago. I'm also a women's 9-9.5 and I picked up a men's 7 and they fit great!

But ... I typically wear men's boots over the women's (not just riding) because I have pretty wide feet and find that a normal men's width fits me very well, where as the women's sizes tend to be a bit more narrow.

They're a good boot and I definitely love mine.

That's awesome, thanks for the info. My feet are a little on the wider side too so it sounds like it will be great!

No problem! I'm new to riding after a 10-year hiatus, so advice on new gear is about all I can offer right now.
