    Might be trading my Danni...

So here's the low down...I got Danni in May, after I lost my QH\Arab cross. He had been abandoned, so I figured I would take him, and atleast put some work into him, and either sell or trade him later.

After moving to AZ I have come to the conclusion that it's now or never; I had hoped after some serious work being done on him, he would settle down enough to use for the kids here at the school I am working at. Unfortunately Danni is the kind of horse who is not content walking around or having to do 'slow' stuff all the time. He wants a more active job; he loves jumping, and loves to get out and run. If I wasn't here at a school where I 'need' a calm horse, I wouldn't mind, because I love to get out and have a fun time too, but when you are riding along side inexperienced riders and trying to explain things to them, I can't be on a horse who wants to 'go, go, go'.

So rather than force him into a job he really doesn't want, I am looking to try and trade him; I really don't want to sell him, but if that's what happens, I can always look for a different horse afterwards.

I do have a line on a paint mare, and I am hoping we can work things out; the owner wants a horse who can ride all day, and is interested in doing gaming, and penning and sorting of cattle...to which I think Danni would be good at. I hate to get rid of him, but I don't want to force him into being the kind of horse he isn't. He is just an energetic guy, and he can't help the way he is. He tries really hard to give me what I want, but I can tell he's not happy having to be a 'pleasure' horse.
