Mini-rant against American Saddlery!

So it's been nearly two (?) months since I ordered the following list of things from American Saddlery:
- 1 saddle (this one: http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x263/Endless-Kaoru/Saddle_Western_AS_Star_Racer_L.jpg but with red in place of the blue), SemiQH bars
- 1 matching headstall and breastcollar
- 3 saddle pads (1 cutback built up, 1 cutback, 1 cutback that matches the above saddle)
- 1 pair of Davis sports boots and no-turn boots
- a pair of split reins, and some assorted other little things.

I was told, at the time of ordering, that it would take about a week. So I waited.... and about two weeks came around with no word on the stuff. So I call... oops, it's a week to make the saddle, two weeks to mail it!
So, three weeks later, there is still no stuff.... another call, and I'm told that I have to pay before they'll start making the saddle. Joy, oh joy, this looks like it'll be fun~
So, I pay (after all, all my other saddles -- save Magic's barrel saddle -- are all from American Saddlery. I've never had an issue with them before.) and I wait.
Another three weeks... another call... for some unknown reason, they haven't even started *making* the saddle!

So today marks the nearly three week date... and I think I've decided that if I call in again, and find that some other stupid issue has popped up, I'm going to cancel my order and demand my money back. I'll take all that money and go to... I dunno. Another saddlery.
Any suggestions? I have a Circle Y, and I love it, but they're generally out of my price range. Tanner (the horse that the saddle is for) is so damned hard to fit, finding a used one could be pretty difficult (I've kept my eyes open for one, and so far, the only one I found was too big for me. And a little questionable in the wither region.)
I've already bought two sets of horse boots, and I'm in love with them; I just need some bell boots, and it's not like those are hard to find. Same with the saddle pads. :-p

Like I mentioned... both 2-Pak and Ruby's saddles are from American saddlery, and I love them. I've never had problems with them, they're comfy (although Ruby's has a pretty small cantle that I'm just not used to anymore), and when I initially ordered them (both at the same time!), they got here in a little under 2 weeks! Plus, my uncle sells them to me at wholesale price, which usually ends up being a little over half of retail!

I already have my eye on these saddles. Opinions?

I can't answer for American Saddlery but I'm having somewhat of a similar problem with Dakota. I rodered a saddle back in August being told that it would take about 3, maybe 4 weeks. 8 weeks latter and no saddle and the dealer I ordered it from is not taking my calls - Thank goodness I didn't have to put any money down (I bought several sadles from the dealer over the years).

I'm beginning to wonder about any of these saddle makers.
