The most incredible feeling ever....

I find the most incredible feeling in the entire world to be the feeling of a horse's hindquarters bunching underneath you and then the explosion of power as they take off. It's just so exhilarating to me. No matter the reason the horse is taking off (whether you're racing, taking off from the starting box for cross country, barrel racing, jumping, etc.) I love it just the same. I can't even begin to describe the feeling it gives me.....anyone else feel the same?

I find the most incredible feeling ever is going at a full on gallop as fast as your horse can go and sticking your arms out like a aeroplane. Your horse is going soo fast that your hardly in the saddle. I feel like im flying!!!!! I can't think of a better feeling!!!!!!!!!!

I definitely know what you mean. When I went for my trial ride on Zeus we had a gallop on the straightaway and oh my GOODNESS that horse can MOVE. We were cantering along and I could feel him ask me if he could gallop, and I just let him go. It was amazing. I've never ridden a horse with so much power before and I LOVE it. I can't wait until we get to the point where we start jumping him again. I popped him over a smallish jump that was out in the field and his jump is so round and, just, wow. He LAUNCHES. Ha ha. I'll stop babbling now.

To me galloping is like totally addicting(like cigartes...eww). But I just loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee the feeling just like yall said that you could not describe it...same with me lol!

I feel the same way!! When I exercise ride the racehorses it's amazing to come out of the turn, lower down over his neck, put my hands forward, and just feel him take off. =)

I also love that feeling. I feel like I'm flying...& then you feel so free! Ah, it's amazing!

*sigh* I miss galloping sooo much, I only have one horse at the moment that can gallop fast and he has been sick so I havent been able to ride him in like 6 months!!

My mare can be going really fast, but not in a gallop, and I can yell "hike ike!" (don't ask, it's our voice cue to go into a dead run)... she bunches up and just takes off like she's got jet engines coming out her rear... it's exhilarating!
