Mounted Games in USA?

Hey,

Has anyone in the US competed in the United States Mounted Games Association before? I was googling cause I would love to get involved in something like this and knew a few peeps in Australia who did an exchange a few years ago. The United States Mounted Games Association

And I also found MGAA, Mounted Games Across America inc. Mounted Games Across America - MGAA

Has anyone got any experience with either or a different group? I live in Rhode Island so would love to find a group of people who do it up this way but want to hear from anyone anywhere who does mounted games through an association!

Also I am an adult so no Pony club groups for me :(
