IMO I think it would hurt you more to stop. Riding is a release. It's helped me a ton. I own a buisness and about a year after staring the biz I got my first horse. It took a lot
Of stress off of me. If ridinging is a part of your life I think you would gender yourself by taking that away

When I was a teenager, my folks sold our horses. If I could go back and do it again, I would give up whatever I would have had to give up in order to have kept my best horse. He was an incredible friend and companion and I wish I had continued to ride for all those years when I was away from horses. I made a terrible mistake by giving up instead of figuring out a way to continue to ride.

Don't make that mistake. You'll look back one day and be really glad you made the right choice! Particularly if you have a really good bond with your horse....

Also, what Diegosmom said about stress is also true. Riding my horse, with whom I do have a tremendous bond, is....well, I don't even know how to describe all it does for me. It's the best stress reliever that I have access to. For that matter, when I can't ride, just being with him (grooming, cleaning feet or whatever) has a wonderful de-stressing effect on me. Matter of fact, I just finished dinner and I'm heading to the barn to check on them and just have a visit. The WX was too bad for a ride this evening... And I can't convey how much I'm looking forward to it!

Don't quit! Figure out a way to work it out....
