My new girl Faye!

So here she is. Danni is doing well so far with his new owner too. We will be able to keep in contact with each other too, which is great.

Faye needs alot of weight and muscle tone, yet, but they showed me pics of when they first got her, and she has improved alot since then (they haven't had her very long either).

She isn't fully finished either, which is good, because I will be able to finish her the way I want; she does have a nice foundation, and a really good mind, from what I can tell. She handn't been ridden for quite few weeks before I got on last night, and she did pretty well...w\t\c without fuss, good turns, decent stops, etc. Just needs to be finished out, especially in the 'collection' department.

Wow, she is gorgeous. Have fun getting her finished, she looks really nice.

Love her ears BTW.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Thanks guys! Took her for a walk this afternoon, and then hopped on bareback with a halter\lead for a little bit, and she did well. I think she's going to do really well.

She does need to learn how to stand tied, as she likes to dance, and paw, so I am going to teach her to ground tie right away, as that works wonders for antzy horses.

she is gorgeus! I think also that she will be a great horse when you finish with her.

There is one principle that should never be abandoned, namely, that the rider must first learn to control himself before he can control his horse. This is the basic, most important principle to be preserved in equitation - Alois Podhajsky

What a cutie. I love the spot in her stripe, someone else on the forum has a horse with a similar spot. :)
