Im going to be the a$$hole here, I have come off more horses than I can count. Some with pretty disastrous results. I have a permanent screw in my jaw as a reminder of one. My advice to you is just RIDE!!! If you're scared there is always ping pong as a hobby.Babying your horse and yourself serves no purpose, and you are doing a disservice to your horse and yourself by doing so.I get being scared, but as the man said courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyway. You are creating a self fulfilling prophecy, you are tense which causes your pony to be tense which creates a situation where your horse can(and will) react to your attitude which equals a wreck.
