new exercises to practise?

Hello everyone!!

I was wondering if anyone had riding exercises for me?

They can be as simple of complex as you like.

For exammple one of the things I have been practicing is laying out 2 trot poles about 1 or 2 metres apart and doing figure 8's using these as the middle.

Does anyone have any new ideas???

TONS of transitions.
When I have nothing much to do or take an easy day I always work on refining my cues :)

Ok good. But I mean like new exercises. Not like transitions or try sitting trot for a lap etc.

I don't really know how to explain it....

Thankyou any way

You should check out this book
Http://www.amazon.com/101-Jumping-Exercises-Horse-Rider/dp/1580174655#reader_1580174655
They give you a 'sneak preview' on the page so you can try/check out some of the exercises in it (where it says "click to look inside" on the picture). I own the book and find it very useful :)

But eliz gave you good advice, transitions are so so so important.
Maybe try walk-canter transitions, as something different.
But they really help the rideability of your horse.
