New Haircut: Ponytail for Helmet?

I am getting a haircut like the one above except slightly longer (almost to my shoulder). Do you think this would work for a ponytail to go into my helmet?

Baaaarely. You'd have to scrape everything together to get a low pony tail and then bobby pin all the loose bits and pieces. I cut my hair in June and it's just now getting the point where I can put almost everything into a high ponytail. It gets annoying after a while.

I had my hair cut like that this summer, down to my shoulders (just barely), I could pull the back part into a small pony tail (it stuck straight back in a spiky sort of way). And the front had to be pinned back, or it would flop foreward into my face.
