Well today I was back on my favourite horse Sonnett and we did great. Everytime I told him to trott he would. He listened so greatly, I am still glowing with hapiness. A few times he tried to go around some barells coz he didn't want to go the way I wanted to, but I forced him and he did it. Trotting is so fun! I loved it. Now I am working on my trotting rythm and trying to remember not to lean forwards when trotting.
I wont have another lesson for 3 weeks now!! -cries- I can barely wait 6 days for my next lesson, let alone 21 days!!

Sonnett is my fave horse ever. He has helped me gain back ALOT of conifdence that I lost last year...

I used to practice trotting by sitting on the arm part of my couch and pretending like I was riding. It actually helped me a lot, and helped me gain confidence to move forward in my lessons.

Well, I can't wait to hear how your next lesson goes!

Aww, yay! Don't you love being able to ride a favorite lesson horse? It's like a special treat at the end of the week!! =) Don't worry the time will fly by!! In the meantime, watch videos on Youtube of other people riding, maybe read some horsey books and magazines, so that way even if you're not around the horses you can still learn some more! =)

Yeah, when I go shopping, I might buy some magazines...
I hope 3 weeks goes fast :(

I love riding Sonnett, he is the best horse in the world. My riding club likes to try and get people to ride different horses every week but my riding instructor understands how my confidence lacks with most horses and how comfident I am with Sonnett. Several people keep telling her I should be riding a different horse coz i've already ridden Sonnett, but so far I get to ride him most of the time...

Yeah, I really don't like riding the other horses too much as I am trying to work on my confidence and I feel better when I only have to work with one horse the same few weeks, know what the horse what is like etc.
Btw, in 3 weeks I'll nag my mum to take some pici's of me riding hopefully on Sonnett...
