Find a barn near you that offers lessons on well-behaved horses and just take a lesson once a week or every other week. You can also "rent" the lesson horses on an hourly basis for practice outside of your lessons at many barns.
I would love to rent lesson horses by the hour but have found none around here that do that, sadly. :(

Thanks for all your help! I was at first thinking about doing a lease (partial lease, to be specific) with only a lesson a month, but I think you're right, I should take more lessons, so depending on what my finances look like, I will most likely do a partial lease with 4+ lessons a month. The lessons will be group lessons (and at the barn I found, the price depends on how many people are in the lesson, the student chooses!).... I'm waiting until this college semester is finished (two weeks), then check out where my finances are at when I am working more. So may be a month or so til then :)
In the mean time, I will visit the barn, find out the rules and stipulations of the lease, and check out the lease horses!
I'm very excited. I also plan on taking a lesson or two first, to make sure I like the instructor. I would hate to be stuck with an instructor I don't like! :)
Thanks all!
